Adam Chalker is an experienced leadership coach, organization development consultant, facilitator and trainer. He specializes in applying behavioral science to design learning solutions that help people and organizations move from good to great. Adam works with leaders who are passionate about creating lasting, positive change in their organizations – and the larger world – and are hungry to take their game to the next level and multiply their impact. He helps clients capitalize on strengths, mitigate weaknesses, and navigate complexity and change to find the keys to higher performance and more fulfilling contribution. Specific areas of consulting expertise include training program design and delivery, workshop facilitation, building leadership development systems, and leadership coaching. He has experience working across industries with clients in government, business, start-up, and non-profit sectors.
Prior to his current work as Principal of GreenLead Solutions LLC and a Senior Consultant with Collaborative Thinking, Adam served as VP of Customer Success at PlotWatt Inc, an electricity analytics company based in Durham, NC. PlotWatt helps reduce electricity use at restaurants, hotels, and banks by building software that mines smart-meter data to identify energy waste. He led a team of Customer Success Managers to onboard, manage, and expand customer accounts.
Before that, Adam led the Organization Performance Solutions practice for Suntiva LLC, a boutique management consulting firm in Washington D.C. He delivered thousands of hours of executive coaching, team workshops, and leadership development training for the private sector and government clients including the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Food & Drug Administration, Verisign, Fannie Mae, and many others. Before that, he also worked as an internal and external leadership development consultant and researcher. Also, fortuitously, a few friends asked him to join in owning a CrossFit box. In 18 months the team grew the gym from 30-120 members and sold it to an awesome team of new owners. It currently operates as CrossFit 611.
On a personal note, he spends free time at CrossFit, yoga, and the Research Triangle Park Rotary Club. Most of all he loves spending time with family and friends.
