Marialane Schultz is an Executive Coach and Consultant who brings more than 25 years of successful leadership and employee development experience to the company in both the public and private sectors. She has served in executive positions where she was responsible for major business operations, strategy, and policy in fortune 100 and Defense organizations. As a key leader in these organizations, she has a track record of success in delivering results and in leading employees through complex changes.

Currently, Marialane provides coaching and consulting services to a variety of public, non-profit, and private sector clients. This includes executive coaching for Georgetown University and independent consulting services to firms engaged in leadership development, organizational performance and securitization. Through these business relationships, she has worked very successfully with a variety of key leaders and has consistently received positive feedback from her coaching clients.

As an executive coach, Marialane utilizes her deep business experience as a platform for understanding contemporary executive challenges. From this foundation, she works with leaders at various levels to help them tackle issues with emotional control, interpersonal effectiveness, employee performance, leveraging conflict, and balancing strategic and tactical perspectives as they lead. She helps leaders identify skills and behaviors that they need to either pick up or leave behind as they transition into new roles or drive significant growth in their organizations.

Previously, Marialane served as the Vice President of Fannie Mae’s Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Program Office and was responsible for managing policy, strategy, and information technology for over $2.5 trillion in MBS securities. Through this role and other leadership roles at Fannie Mae, Ms. Schultz offers extensive experience and knowledge in trust compliance, security disclosure requirements, and in managing large-scale operations for both cash and MBS acquisitions.

Prior to Fannie Mae, Marialane served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency’s (DCMA) Business Operations, Workforce Development, and Strategic Planning. She was responsible for overseeing 14,000 personnel worldwide who managed nearly 350,000 defense contracts valued at over $900 billion.

Before her post at DCMA, Marialane served as a senior staffer to the Clinton Administration in the Office of the Federal Environmental Executive.

Marialane earned her degree in Economic and Social Development from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, Vermont.
