Allyn Bader Barclay, Coach, Consultant and Trainer is a consultant with Collaborative Thinking Leadership Development Services, LLC with 25 plus years of leading training and development departments for large corporations including: Delta Airlines, JD Edwards (now Oracle) and URS (now AECOM). Key programs focused on manager and employee development, Health & Safety, Quality and Project management and multiple system implementations.

Allyn is a Certified Clifton Strengths Coach helping organizations develop a Strength Based culture through individual coaching and strength-based workshops. She helps manager’s understand their unique strengths and the strengths of their team. Creating a strength-based culture helps improve employee engagement, productivity and retention. Allyn also coaches individuals to achieve success by helping them appreciate and utilize their natural talents. She teaches regular Clifton Strength’s workshops for Colorado Free University and the University of Denver Alumni.

Allyn is a seasoned classroom facilitator and trainer teaching software systems, new employee onboarding, project management up through manager and leadership development.  Allyn has also trained other Leadership Programs including Blessing White’s Helping Others Succeed and Leading Technical Professionals. Vital Smart’s Crucial Conversations and Accountability in addition to internally developed manager, project manager and leadership development programs.

As the Director of Training and Development at URS Allyn’s team of Instructional Designers transitioned the organization from strictly a classroom-based training organization to a blended learning approach incorporating both synchronous and asynchronous programs offered to employees throughout the world. Virtual training was a common way to meet international audiences training needs from the training center in Denver, Colorado. At URS, Allyn spearheaded the implementation of an internal Project Management Certification certifying over 8.000 Project Managers. URS’ program was recognized as a Registered Education Provider by the Project Management Institute.

Allyn is also a Certified Project Management Professional has a Certificate in Human and Animal Interactions from the University of Denver’s School of Social Work, a Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Colorado.  Her Bachelor’s Degree was in Sociology and Social Work with a Masters in Applied Communication. 

Allyn is currently Board Member with the Alliance of Professional Women, facilitator for the Women Entrepreneur’s Mastermind Group and a member of the Project Management Institute of America.
