David Brownstein is a certified executive leadership coach, facilitator, OD consultant, and instructional designer. With over 13 years in HR, OD and coaching, David has found a passion in partnering with individuals and/or groups seeking to improve relationships, productivity, engagement, and effectiveness in the workplace and life.
In designing programs, sessions, retreats or workshops, David creates experiences that promote self-awareness for clients and their teams, and ignite actionable next steps that support the client’s objectives long after their engagement. He has facilitated leadership trainings to over 6,000 people across 10 countries covering emotional intelligence, innovation, managing change, accountability and more. For retreats and workshops, David blends leadership content with team-building activities and strategic planning to provide teams with a holistic approach to their specific organizational needs.
David has extensive experience in organization development and human resources and has designed, implemented, and delivered strategic organization development programs for diverse communities around the world. He has led multiple companies through organizational changes, partnering with senior leaders to approach their initiatives focusing on employee engagement, empathy, inclusivity, and accountability.
As an ACC-level ICF certified coach, David partners with clients in a discovery of self and their environment to evoke changes that impact themselves and others in their lives. David helps clients understand how their personal growth also has positive impacts on those around them. This “pay if forward” mentality promotes a unified workforce and community for the client and helps them recognize their leadership potential.
David worked as a learning and development manager at nonprofit and private companies and organization development consultant supporting clients on leadership development and workforce engagement. He earned his M.A. in Public Administration from George Mason University, and a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Delaware.
