Dianna Dunbar

Dianna Dunbar is a Resiliency Leadership Coach and Trainer. She is a pioneer with over 20 years of experience creating resiliency programs for leaders and corporations.

Dianna is known for her depth of experience in behavioral science, communications program development, and high level executive coaching along with her sense of humor and passionate inspirational style. She designs life-changing resiliency leadership programs for individuals and executive teams and creates engaged dynamic solutions that deliver positive behavior change, while capitalizing on client’s strengths. Her mission is to create a committed partnership with leaders, which inspires profound culture change and awareness in individuals, companies, and communities. She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program and is a Certified Coach.

Dianna has coached and taught behavioral change programs to over 19,000 people for diverse audiences in business, non-profit and government.

Dianna is a sought-after speaker on mindfulness, positive psychology, communication and happiness.  Past presentations at annual national conferences include “Resiliency and Mindfulness at Work” at the University of Vermont, Happiness Conference, Kaiser Permanente asked her to present and teach workshops on her program in-house and at the annual Smart Marriages Conference national conference.  Dianna has been practicing meditation for 26 years and engaging in silent retreats since 2002.  She served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Graduate Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University.

A cutting-edge innovator in applications of mindfulness, Dianna integrated the principles and theories of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral science and developed the first mindfulness program concisely targeted for the needs of an HMO, Kaiser Permanente, Colorado. From the programs she piloted and designed, the Annual International Scientific Conference-Integrating Mindfulness-Based Interventions asked her to present on her mindfulness programs “Mindfulness Practice in the HMO Environment,” and her trademarked program, “Facilitating the Awakened Couple: Mindfulness Couples Therapy.”

Dianna’s unique approach to serving clients led her to create and trademark Mindfulness Couples Therapy (MCT), drawing on 15 years of working with couples, mindfulness theory and practice, C.B.T. (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Gestalt tools. She has expanded her program offerings to include Organizational Communication Intelligence- a 6-week program.
