KARLA FINGER
Karla Finger, has over 25 years of experience serving as an organiation development consultant, leadership coach, trainer, and facilitator. She specializes in expanding leader, team and individual awaressness and the capacity to to grow trust, build collaboration, and achieve results. Her work is grounded in insights from behavioral science, change management, neuroscience, systems thnking, and adult learning principles.
As an organization development consultant, Karla brings her expertise in systems thinking, organizational behaviors, change management and human dynamics to facilitate positive and sustainable change. She partners with clients and stakeholders to determine the underlying cause of performance gaps and identifies solutions to improve organizational effectiveness.
As a leadership coach, Karla holds the goals and wellbeing of her clients as her top priority. She works with clients at all levels including executive, mid-level management, and emerging leaders. Integrating purposeful dialog and mindfulness practices, Karla collaborates with clients to gain greater awareness of the personal mindsets and behaviors that support or undermine their leadership efffectiveness and well being. With greater awareness and a focus on new possibilities, clients implement intentional and effective actions to achieve their desired outcomes. Clients appreciate Karla’s warm presence and her role as a supportive accountability partner as they practice new behaviors and integrate new skills.

Karla demonstrates high comfort in both small and large groups. She effectively communicates with and adapts to diverse audiences and delivers high-quality instructor-led classroom, virtual, and blended learning experiences. With the client’s desired outcomes in mind, Karla incorporates empathy, enthusiasm, structure and fun to create a focused, productive, and experiential learning environment. Training sessions focus on critical leadership competencies such as communication, navigating change, managing conflict, building alignment, giving feedback, decision-making, and communication styles. Karla is a graduate of the Georgetown University Executive Coaching Certification Program, a member of the International Coach Federation, and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Karla received a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University/National Institute for Applied Behavioral Science and an undergraduate degree in Journalism/Advertising from Ohio University.
Karla is a life-long learner and world traveler who leans into new experiences with curiosity, gusto and delight. When she is not working, Karla ca be found planning her next adventure, reading a great novel, looking for treasures at an estate sale, attempting a new NY Times recipe, or connecting with her extended family and global community.
