Michelle Cribbs
Michelle Cribbs is a Leadership Coach and Educational consultant with over 25 years of Instructional, Coaching and Mentoring experience in public and private sectors. Having the privilege of growing learners from early childhood development to seasoned professionals, Michelle has a comprehensive understanding of how clients navigate growth and change. As a fervent educational advocate, Michelle champions students, colleagues, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations to prioritize curiosity and embrace continuous improvement.
With a focus on growing emergent leaders, Michelle collaborates with clients to identify core values and how they relate to intentionality of decision making, summon strengths, strategically build-in opportunities, and confidently align their professional and personal trajectory.
Michelle’s authenticity provides a comfortable and trusting presence, allowing the client a space to courageously explore all possible outcomes. She has a keen awareness of client engagement, and acquaints clients with subtle shifts in conversation or body language to broaden self awareness and amplify opportunities for action.
While the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line, Michelle challenges clients to embrace detours. What opportunities are in the client’s peripheral vision, literally and figuratively? What are the benefits of spontaneity? The risks?
With positivity and zeal, Michelle encourages the client to integrate physical and natural space as part of their coaching journey. Michelle completes an immersive Nature Coach training in April 2024 and will integrate these newly acquired techniques into the client experience.
As an ardent believer that community colleges are a utopia for educational access, Michelle elected to complete her coaching program with Anne Arundel Community College Engagement and Leadership Coaching program. She is finalizing requirements for International Coaching Federation, Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and is SHRM CP certified. Michelle completed an undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Writing from Simmons College, and a graduate degree in Teacher Education from the University of Illinois.
