Monica Murphy is a Talent Acquisition professional in the legal industry and will be graduating from Marymount University with a Human Resource Management Master’s with a focus in coaching in May 2022. After graduation she is passionate about pursuing a career in leadership development and working towards being ICF certified. 

Her love of leadership development does not stop professionally; she strives to be a leader in her young professional community by being a connection and mentor to her peers. In 2021, she led an online group through Kathleen Elderman’s temperament study “You said this, I heard that” to help her peers learn how to communicate effectively and become more self-aware of how they are being perceived. Through this experience she personally witnessed how impactful a small group can be to develop accountability and build foundational relationships. 

Monica’s academic journey started at Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology. In areas of both Psychology and Human Resources Monica extends her creativity and passion in hopes of meeting individuals where they are while supporting meaningful change.
