Jody Hudson is an organization effectiveness consultant, leadership coach, facilitator, and change management professional with more than thirty years professional and leadership experience. He is currently an internal senior consultant for a major national health care provider, and a former federal executive with deep human capital and learning & development experience. Jody has also worked internationally supporting the United Nation’s International Atomic Energy Agency and assisting nations through bilateral agreements and has the ability to work effectively across cultures.
As an organization effectiveness consultant Jody partners with clients to increase organizational effectiveness and performance through people and culture. He brings his experience as a former “C-suite” executive and develops and implements solutions that advance the business strategy and achieve improved business results. Jody works with individual executives and executive teams to effect enterprise and business-lines impact.
As a leadership coach, Jody coaches all levels of leaders from seasoned executives to emerging leaders. Jody brings a coactive style of coaching when working with individuals and teams. Through an exploration of what is important to the client and what results they want to achieve, Jody helps clients gain insight and clarity to move forward toward their goals. Jody is credentialed in using multiple assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and The Leadership Circle 360 which he often uses in his coaching practice.
As a former federal Chief Human Capital Officer and Chief Learning Officer, Jody has deep experience in human capital and leadership training & development. He has designed and implemented enterprise and regional leadership development programs for large complex organizations. Jody brings a strategic view to leadership development, focused on developing the mindset, competencies, and knowledge the organization’s leaders need to achieve business results and drive high employee engagement. Among his past accomplishments was the design and delivery of multiple Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Programs (SES-CDPs), and training for The White House Leadership Development Program under the Obama Administration with the goal of developing leaders who can work interdependently across agency boundaries in times of national crisis.
Jody is a skilled and experienced facilitator and trainer. He has developed and facilitated a wide range of client-centered workshops focused on teambuilding, leadership development, organizational change, and employee engagement using both classroom and virtual delivery.
Jody is an accomplished speaker having given presentations at conferences around the globe.
Jody is a graduate of the American University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance Certification Program and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. Jody earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development & Knowledge Management from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Chemistry from Missouri State University.
