+20 years of experience helping leaders and teams strengthen performance in complex, rapidly changing environments. She serves as an executive coach, team coach, organizational consultant, trainer, and facilitator.

Jennifer Budd is the founder of Development Unbound and has more than twenty years of experience helping leaders and teams strengthen performance in complex, rapidly changing environments. She serves as an executive coach, team coach, organizational consultant, trainer, and facilitator.
As an executive coach, Jennifer partners with leaders to clarify priorities, expand perspective, leverage strengths, and build more effective habits of action and reflection. Her approach draws on counseling, coaching, leadership development, and practical executive experience. She helps clients see the patterns that may be limiting their impact and build the capacity to self-correct and self-regulate long after the coaching engagement has concluded.
As a team coach and organizational consultant, Jennifer works with leaders and teams to improve the way they collaborate, make decisions, manage complexity, and achieve business results. She is one of the first coaches in the world to earn the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching from the International Coaching Federation. Her work supports clients in building trust, clarity, accountability, and the shared practices needed to do their best work together.
Jennifer is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and educator. She designs and facilitates leadership development programs, retreats, and working sessions that help groups surface new insights, navigate challenging conversations, and translate learning into practical action. Increasingly, Jennifer supports organizations as they navigate the human and team's implications of artificial intelligence, including leadership readiness, judgment, adaptability, ethics, and performance in AI enabled ways of working.
Prior to founding Development Unbound, Jennifer began her career at NASA, managing the talent development function for the Glenn Research Center and leading strategic training and leadership development initiatives, including the first Agency wide development program for emerging leaders. She continued her work in HR and talent management at Babcock & Wilcox and Goodyear, where she designed and delivered leadership development initiatives and talent strategy. She later became part of the founding team at Corentus, Inc., serving as Chief Business Officer, client lead on major corporate accounts, and senior faculty in professional development programs.
Jennifer received her coaching certification through New Ventures West and recently earned accreditation as a Coach Supervisor. She teaches executive education programs on AI at Case Western Reserve University, including AI Toolkit for the Future of HR and Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Leadership Essentials in the Era of AI. A consistent theme throughout Jennifer’s work is creating reflective space for people to see things differently, make more conscious choices, and discover new possibilities.
