Lauren Insley’s

Lauren Insley, Senior Consultant and Leadership Coach with Collaborative Thinking, LLC, brings over 20 years of experience as an organizational development consultant, leadership coach, and people strategy partner—helping leaders and organizations translate complex people challenges into practical, scalable solutions that improve engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. She draws on a research-based foundation in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and applied neuroscience to deliver science-informed approaches that stick.

As a leadership coach, Lauren partners with leaders at all levels to clarify priorities, leverage strengths, build resilience, strengthen leadership presence, and take meaningful action toward goals. As an Organizational Development Consultant, Lauren helps leaders and teams assess culture, systems, and ways of working—then co-design interventions that strengthen alignment, capability, and performance. Her work frequently includes organizational assessments and diagnostics, employee engagement strategy and action planning, human capital strategy and workforce alignment (e.g., clarifying roles, capabilities, and operating models needed to deliver on mission and business priorities), succession and workforce planning, leadership development, and change adoption—supported by strong measurement and evaluation practices.

Prior to joining Collaborative Thinking, Lauren built a broad consulting and leadership background spanning both public and private sectors. Her experience includes founding Leadership & Performance Innovations (LPI Consulting) and holding executive consulting and senior leadership roles with firms such as Suntiva and Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led organizational development, talent strategy, leadership development, and large-scale workforce initiatives. Across her career, she has partnered with leaders in 30+ client organizations—ranging from federal agencies to commercial companies—bringing a practical, data-informed approach to improving performance, culture, and leader effectiveness.
